Thanks for this interview. My wife is a huge Harry Connick Jr. fan, and we saw him live this past summer. At the show, he announced the Netflix movie, so we looked for it and watched it. Really great humor and sentiment. And the Cypriots really get all the best dialog.
I love this film! I watched it last week, and it left me with the warm and fuzzies. Harry Connick was perfect in that role. And what a great interview! It’s given me renewed hope for my romcom, Just Like A Movie, which is set in Ibiza and also features a rock star encountering career issues, and is being developed as a screenplay by a screenwriter who simply loved the book! I would love to talk to Stelana more🙏 And what a beautiful name she has⭐️The main character in the book I’m currently writing is called Stella❤️ Thank you for sharing this!
Such a great interview! Loved her passion for this film and enjoyed her insights.
And I didn't even realize until she mentioned it that most of the romcoms this year were directed by men! It makes me really want to see this movie even more.
The insights into the making of "Find Me Falling" and the journey of bringing Harry Connick Jr. on board were fascinating. Stelana's passion and personal connection to Cyprus shone through, making it an engaging read. The behind-the-scenes anecdotes added depth. Great work, Erin!
I am so disappointed in this movie and this interview in their calluseness and insensitivity to suicide loss. The author of this article states that HKJ's character occupies a "cliffside home not knowing that it’s the site of a local “suicide hotspot,” an edgy plot twist that often gives the movie a hint of 1990s indie cinema." EDGY PLOT TWIST? Are you kidding me? Do you have any idea how devastating it is to lose a loved one by suicide? Do you even see how hurtful a movie like this could be to suicide survivors who think they are watching a rom com and from the initial scenes they are subjected to triggering events? This movie unnecessarily uses suicide as a context for renewing love. There are so many more ways to accomplish the same objective without causing undue harm to hearts of families who have been subjected to the intense heartache of losing a loved one or friend by suicide. Next time you review a movie, give it a higher level eye and see who it affects. I also hope Hollywood does not reward efforts such as this that unnecessarily use suicide as a backdrop to a story.

Thank you, Chris! I loved hearing that Harry is as nice as he’s always seemed.

Reflexive “he’s never leaving her, Marie” misquote for the boathouse ❤️
Gotta love Harry. Fab interview.
Thank you!!
Great interview! Fascinating that this was based on a real old man out there saving lives.
Thank you! And yes, re: the real-life inspiration! I had no idea about any of that before speaking with Stelana.
